I had my heart set on finding a vintage truck for my photography business. Once my husband, Mike, and I agreed it was a good idea, the hunt was on.
Mike began scouring the Internet for what seemed like forever, trying to find that perfectly preserved old truck. After months of searching, Mike found a ‘59 Chevy Apache pickup truck hunkered quietly inside a barn in the Midwest. Little Blue, as she was already affectionately referred to in the Lynn household, had seemingly been waiting just for us for nearly 30 years. We were thrilled and immediately had our new (to us) vintage truck shipped to us.
Our new little blue truck was an instant hit with clients of all types at my photography studio, Silver Orchid Photography.
Families, brides and grooms, high schoolers, and kiddos of every age loved Little Blues’ appearance in their photo sessions. And that led to us adding a younger but bigger brother, “Big Red”, to our family in 2020. Since then, Big Red has played a starring role in dozens of family Christmas photos as a centerpiece to our annual Cool Yule family holiday photo event at Silver Orchid.
Years later, on a Little Blue Truck delivery road trip, Mike and I talked about the amazing response to these two vintage trucks (we’d begun renting them to fellow photographers, event planners, and venue managers a few years earlier), and the idea of White Barn Vintage Rental was born.
As a professional photographer, I’ve been drawn to these gracefully aged, well-loved, and useful old things for years. Now, with the launch of White Barn Vintage Rental, I can share my entire collection—my passion—for these timeless, uniquely beautiful items.

Yes, we offer curbside delivery drop off, and pickup for a fee based on your event location. If outside of Perkiomenville, we require a minimum order of $1,000.
Curbside delivery drop off and pick up means the items are placed in one designated area of your event venue as defined in your proposal.
Our maximum delivery radius is 50 miles from Perkiomenville. If your event is outside that radius, please get in touch with us directly before building your rental order to discuss your needs.
We do not set up the items or move them to their exact location.
Late returns can have a serious effect on another client’s order if the pieces you rented are going out again. Therefore, a late return fee is charged if pieces are not returned on your scheduled drop-off date, which is usually within three days of your pick-up unless otherwise stipulated in your rental agreement.
Late Fees are a standard 25% charge based on your total rental order.
Please provide us as much notice as possible if you think you will be returning items late.
We recommend booking as much as one year in advance.
Some of the items in our inventory are one of a kind which creates much higher demand. However, we have a lot of pieces that can be booked in the same week or even the same day.
If something you want is already booked, we will do our best to find you a substitute.
